Delete your GlamUare account
We get it — sometimes you want to take a break or move on. You can delete your GlamUare account at any time, either from inside the GlamUare app or by emailing us. This page explains how to delete your account, what data is removed, what we're legally required to retain, and how long it takes.
How to delete your account from inside the app
- Open the GlamUare app.
- Go to Profile (the bottom-right tab).
- Tap Settings (the gear icon at the bottom).
- Under General, tap Delete Account.
- Confirm — and you're done.
Prefer to email us?
Email hello@glamuare.com with the subject "Delete my account" from the email address linked to your GlamUare account. We'll confirm and process your request within 7 business days.
What gets deleted
- Your account profile (name, email, phone, photo)
- Your bookings and appointment history
- Saved businesses, community memberships, and vouchers
- Payment method tokens stored with our payment provider
What's retained (and why)
- Anonymised transaction records. We're required by Australian tax and financial-records law to retain financial records for 7 years for tax and accounting purposes. After deletion, these records are anonymised and can't be linked back to you.
- Aggregated, non-identifying analytics. Usage data that has been aggregated and stripped of anything that could identify you.
How long it takes
Account deletion requests are completed within 7 business days of the request. You'll receive a confirmation email when it's done.
